Add small signs, miniature tools, dolls, coffee cups, croissants, workshop elements, and decorative objects to transform the house into entirely new universes.
One day it’s a bakery. The next it’s a café, workshop, flower shop, or tiny design studio. All accessories are designed to work seamlessly with the playhouse and can be added over time as your child’s imagination evolves.
Why we made it
We spend years designing kitchens, sofas, lamps, and interiors for adults.
But children often grow up surrounded by hard surfaces, loud toys, screens, and overstimulating environments.
At Arturel, we believe sound affects more than we think: focus, calm, sleep, stress, creativity, and the nervous system itself. The Silent Playhouse™ is our attempt to rethink children’s spaces through acoustics, design, and imagination.

We believe noise affects children more than we think their focus, sleep, creativity, and nervous system. So instead of another loud plastic toy, we wanted to build a quiet space made for imagination and calm play. A small room inside the room. A place to read, play, draw, and slow down.
Kids are noisy. But kids aren’t the problem. For many families, they’re simply the biggest source of sound in the home. Not because they’re doing something wrong, but because they’re alive, curious, creative, and expressive. The real problem is that most homes were never designed acoustically for family life. So instead of asking children to be quieter, maybe we should design spaces that handle sound better.

High-density acoustic felt
The Silent Playhouse™ is made from the same high-density acoustic felt used in Arturel’s interior collections.
The material consists of recycled PET, primarily sourced from recycled plastic bottles and packaging.
Chosen for both its acoustic properties and tactile warmth, the material helps absorb sound while remaining durable, lightweight, and soft to the touch.
Designed to look beautiful in modern homes - while being practical enough for everyday play.
CE mark
The Silent Playhouse has successfully passed independent EU toy safety testing and can officially carry the CE mark. Tested by Eurofins according to the European Toy Safety Directive (2009/48/EC), the playhouse passed:
– EN 71-2: Flammability
– EN 71-3: Migration of certain elements (chemical safety / heavy metals)
The tests specifically included requirements for toys intended to be entered by a child.
All tested variants passed. No harmful levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium VI or other restricted substances were detected.
