Arturel OffCuts
Many of our acoustic artworks are made from different recycled fabrics.
Yet, every cut leaves behind unused fabric. Arturel OFFCUTS is a new series of small scale art pieces shaped entirely from what remains.
From nothing to something
Arturel OffCuts is developed from a desire to make the most of our materials. We believe that the offcuts from our artworks still hold value. They carry the same story, functionality and potential as the pieces they came from. By turning these remains into something new, we embrace circularity and reduce waste. It is a small but natural extension of our recycling philosophy.
The name OffCuts points directly to its origin, the material left behind after shaping an acoustic artwork. Each small scale art piece extends the life of that material.

The art of transformation
Our main goal with CutOne and CutTwo is to minimize waste. We allow the shape of the remaining fabric to guide the design process.
When we produce our acoustic artworks, two different sizes of fabric are consistently left over. CutOne and CutTwo are specifically designed using each of these two sizes. The leftover fabric is scaled, cut, and assembled into new compositions. Each finished small scale art piece is made up of four or five pieces. You can combine them in various ways to achieve your desired aesthetic expression.
