Usage and care

Before use:
Before placing your rug, thoroughly vacuum the carpet without using the brush to remove loose fibers or any press marks caused during transportation. This is especially common with bamboo rugs. The press marks will gradually disappear over time. Important: Never use a brush to remove press marks, as this can damage the carpet.

Care instructions:
Daily Cleaning: 
Vacuum your carpet regularly, especially when it’s new, as shedding is normal. Always vacuum in the direction of the pile and avoid using the brush attachment. Do not use robotic cleaners on the rug, as their brushes can pull at the fibers and cause the cleaner to repeatedly go over the same spot, thinking it is still dirty.

Stains:
For spills, act quickly. Gently blot the area with a clean, white cotton cloth to prevent the stain from setting. Lightly sprinkle water if necessary, then blot again with a white cloth. If the stain persists, have the rug cleaned professionally.
Never use chemicals for cleaning!

General Care:
To prevent uneven wear, rotate the rug twice a year. Consider placing plastic protectors under heavy furniture to reduce pressure marks. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight may cause fading, so try to keep the rug out of direct sunlight.

If placing the rug on delicate surfaces, use an underlay to prevent staining from the carpet’s underside.
