Form and function

Arturel represents a creative and interdisciplinary team with a wide range of industry experience. From our base in Aarhus, Denmark, we create a range of high quality products, developed and produced only with recycled and local sustainable materials.

Art and interior design should - in all possible ways, contribute to a better world for future generations. Therefore we’re on a mission to incorporate recycled and upcycled materials into a circular economy that doesn't compromise the planet, people or the art we create.

Recycling as a Philosophy

We use different recycled materials. Our felt is made from recycled materials and ocean bound plastic. Our Kvadrat series is made from upcycled wool - A new engineered material made from upcycled textiles. By using recycled materials, we want to contribute to a better world for future generations. We're on a mission to utilize recycled materials in a circular economy that doesn't compromise the planet, people, or the art we create.

Vores forhold til kunst går langt ud over forretning. Vi er passioneret kunstbeundrere, elskere, samlere, og har været det i mere end et årti. Dette har givet os en unik position i form af at tale kunstnere og designeres sprog, når vi udvikler nye produkter.

Videnskab som et Værktøj

Vores proces begynder med at dykke ned i dataene, studere materialerne og forstå principperne bag dem. Denne videnskabelige tilgang sikrer, at hvert produkt er baseret på fakta og optimeret til ydeevne. Vi udfordrer konstant os selv, mens vi omfavner kreativitet.

Håndværk som en tilgang

Vi tilføjer ikke bare et designlag til skabeloner. Alle vores kollektioner starter med at samle vores team af håndværkere og specifikke designere og/eller kunstnere om tegnebrættet. Disse to verdener smelter ubesværet sammen til innovative kollektioner af indretningsdesign-genialitet.
